4 Days Young

I had such a great time with this little newborn (all 9.5lbs of her!). The fact she is my niece may make me a bit bias but there is no arguing the fact that she is simply precious!

Headshots

A "head shot" is my favorite pose on any session (I think many photographers would agree!) so I was super excited when someone approached me about doing a whole session of head shots! Not only that but my model is gorgeous, SUPER nice and is into photography herself so it sounded like an exciting session all around....and it was! The majority of our session was shot on a high key (white) background (which was fun since I've not done a high key session in ages) but she entertained me with some outside shots as well. And I also got to snap a few of her ADORABLE 2yo son!

I've only just begun to go through the TONS of photos I took but here are a couple outside & studio shots from our session. I hope you enjoy your preview N! :o)

I don't generally do a lot of playing around with different post processing "actions" but this shot screamed vintage to me. Can't you see a nice big print of this in the kitchen?! :o) (I can!! LOL)

I shot a couple teenagers today who both have the greatest smiles! I don't think the fact they are my neice & nephew make me bias. They really do have the perfect smiles! :o)

Precious Baby L - a Complete Doll!

Forgive my bad blog habits - this holiday season was a bit crazy for me between holiday sessions, my "other" job, getting photos for a preschool holiday project & a pro bono session for Chase Point Assisted Living Facility. I hope everybody had a great holiday season & had a blast bringing in the year 2010!

I am excited to start the new year off with a sneak peek of a gorgeous little girl who will be celebrating her first birthday very shortly. I couldn't pick just one or 2 photos - there were so many that I just had to share. She was simply a precious little lady who had the brightest blue eyes & a super sweet smile. Though she didn't need a smile to brighten up the room with those eye. :o)

Thanks for bringing her in for photos mom & dad - despite being in the middle of a big snow storm! Enjoy your sneak peek...

Secondly, I love photographing these girls! They're so sweet & photogenic not to mention gorgeous! It's always a pleasure to have them over to the studio... :o)

'Tis the season for getting those holiday sessions booked! I have 1 session date left in October & a few dates available in November. I will NOT be doing holiday sessions in the month of December so please check the calendar section of my website & email me with the date you would like before it's too late!
